This is the public version of the reference software for SAOL, called saolc. Saolc is a command-line program which lets you turn MPEG-4 Structured Audio bitstreams into sound. It can also be used to help create Structured Audio bitstreams; it lets you turn SAOL programs in the textual SAOL format into sound. Versions are available at least for SGI, Alpha, and Win32 platforms
