SNet is our own new SAOL-software for Windows. It is in fact a graphical skin around John Lazzaros Sfront, in which you can edit your code and then listen to it by just pressing the render-button.

SNet has a clear editor in which you can seperately edit your orchestra- and score-file at the same time, and this makes it very easy to switch between these two files very quickly. Another feature that will make your SAOL-coding much easier is SNets recognition of the intruments and opcodes in your orchestra-file, and the option to quickly jump to any of them.

Error-messages, that you might be getting if you mis-spelled something in your code, can be easily found by double-clicking on the line-number that SNet gives you, and you immediately jump to this line.

One of the most appealing features in SNet is the opcode library that you can easily access. The opcode library is a list of user-opcodes that you can download from saol.net and which will give you over 25 opcodes that you can select and use in your own instruments. The library already includes cool filters, reverbs, distortion and other effects. This list is always growing and freely available on saol.net. You can even simply add your own opcodes!

SNet is free and gives you the possibility to create sonic experiences you never imagined, download it now and listen to Structured Audio for yourself!
